Fuse Hip Hop Ignites Christian Hip Hop Culture at KPC Kabalagala

On Friday, 4th July 2025, the heart of Kampala pulsed with truth, rhythm, and raw talent as Fuse Hip Hop took over KPC Kabalagala, delivering a night to remember for lovers of Christian Hip Hop (CHH). The event, organized by SR Victor256 & co., was more than just a concert, it was a spiritual and cultural experience where faith met flow, and the Gospel hit hard through the bars and beats.

From the moment the mic went live, Fuse Hip Hop team proved it wasn’t playing. The lineup brought together some of Uganda’s most influential CHH voices.

(DJ) SR Victor256, the visionary behind the event with help of his mentor Shadrack Kuteesa a hip Hop force in this game and the brains behind Fuse Hip Hop, set the pace with high-energy performances, inviting Wake, Chillz Kabejja, TM Blessed, Nimso, Barna, Jeho Rukundo the first Lady of the night, closed up the night with lyrical depth with verses that challenged minds and stirred hearts.

SR Victor256 was not just the show’s host he brought his experience and influence. He has several wins in Hip Hop such as DJ Of The Year in the UG Hip Hop Awards in 2022 & 2023 and the Best International DJ In the Gospel Hip Hop Awards in the USA.

The crowd—made up of hip hop heads, gospel lovers, and curious first-timers was electric. From hands raised in worship to heads bobbing in sync, the audience was unified: Jesus at the center, hip hop as the vessel.

Fuse Hip Hop was more than just music. It fostered community and conversation. The genre built bridges between artists and audiences. They believe that CHH isn’t just a subgenre but a movement. This movement reshapes urban ministry and reclaims youth culture for Christ.

Fuse wasn’t a one-off event. It’s happened for 3 years now. The first 2 editions paved the way for last Friday to be a statement. A declaration that Christian Hip Hop in Uganda is alive, growing, and unashamed. As the lights dimmed, the mission was clear. The final beat dropped. Ignite faith through hip hop and let the fire spread.

Midst all the Ugandan Hip Hop drama, Fuse Hip Hop stayed clear and delivered. There’s such a huge audience less tapped – easier tapped with spiritual conviction.

Salute to VEG & Play House Fest for setting the stage. Christian Hip Hop (CHH) has such a bright future!
